Are there any differences between the Antarctic and the Arctic other than some of the wildlife?

Austin,Yes ... actually there is a difference. For example the Arctic is primarily an ocean covered by ice and the Antarctic is primarily a continent covered by ice. As a result the ice melts at different rates. The polar cap in the north will melt faster than the polar cap in the south. In addition Antarctica has been isolated from humans. The continent was never populated so there are no native peoples of Antarctica, while in the north you have the Inuit or Eskimo.
