Hi, my name is Emily and I am taking a Marine Science I class at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton, Florida. I was wondering what other animals have you come across, other than the mummified seal (both living and non living)? Thank you so much for your time.

So far this season I have seen many Weddell Seals sun bathing on the ice. Skua which is like a seagull are everywhere in McMurdo Station. I have not seen any penguins yet but on our way to site 4 there is a Emperor penguin rookery that I hope we see. Last year we stopped there and saw thousands of adult penguins and baby penguins. You can check out the video I made on Youtube called Plethora of Penguins.
