Hello, I'm Liz from Cousino High School and I was wondering what the teams most frequently used equipment is and how it works or is used?

This year its seems to be the shovel. Once we get to a site our engineer swaps out hard drives and other small electronics while the rest of use did out the solar panels and seismometer so next years accumulation does not bury the site. Some sites we do not have to do any digging while others we had to dig up the whole site and bring it back to the surface. So hours in the field vary from 45 minutes to almost four hours!
