Brian, It's great to see that you are headed back into the field again in spite of the government shutdown. WISSARD was not so lucky. Have a great time. I like forward to reading your journal entries.

Yes we were lucky to still go however it has been a very slow start. The weather has been terrible all around the sites and we have accomplished nothing yet. Even though we have only been down here a week it seems like a month when you aren't doing much. I to talk to some other science groups to see if they are having luck and it seems most are in a holding pattern. Everyone is getting anxious to start their research.
