How often does Condition 1 happen in the Transantarctic Mountains and did it even happen while you were there?

Condition 1 is rare in the summer, when I was there, but quite common in the winter. I did not experience a condition 1, but I did witness a condition 2 due to wind speed and temperature. Sent from my iPhone
