Hey mrs.rose,

How has you trip been so far is here another question for you,,,, oh and we all miss you very berry much here back at the school :) As the ship is cuttig through the ice does it make u wonder about global warming and if it is true or not? oh and has it made you think about the titantic at all???? Cant wait to here back

Global warming...good question. Most scientists refer to it as Global Climate Change and yes, we do think and talk about it. My pictures my LOOK like there is a lot of ice here, but this is all new ice. Ice that was formed this year. In years past, multi-year ice came very far down into the Chukchi. So...something is contributing to the inhibited ice formation! Titanic - yeah, ocassionally I think about it. The movie is available on the ship server if we want to watch it! : ) I have seen it many times so no need to watch again. It just makes you KNOW how incredibly cold that water must be...what a terrible way to die!________________________________
