Winter Sampling

Hey Chantelle- hope you had a great holiday break and are getting back into the swing of things!!

I've been peeking at the Healy web cam since you returned, wondering why it hadn't left Dutch Harbor. Then it sailed a couple of days ago, and now it is in the ice. I was about to write you to ask if you heard what was going on but then saw this in the news today- http://www.cnn.com/2012/01/05/us/alaska-nome-icebreaker/

Hi Bill..it was hush hush for quite some time.  I knew about the controversy that began when we pulled into Nome, but due to the uncertainty of the mission, dates, etc, it was better for us to just not even mention it!  I am SO glad Healy is back on the ice and underway!  The Crew is ready to go home!!  Thanks again for following!!!
