What is the average thickness of the ice? What is the thickest ice you have gone through? How thick are the pressure ridges (how high and how far below the water?

According to the Ice Expert, the range of ice we have encountered is 1 centimeter to 8 feet thick. As for the pressure ridges, it's difficult to say. It is dependent upon type of ice and pressure. The higher the ridge depth, the exponentially deeper the keel depth. Hope that helps give you an idea of the ice we have experienced!
