How much have you learned about the coppods? - Laura McWilliams :)

Good question Laura!! I have learned not only how to identify copepods in a sample of water, I have had to learn to tell males from females (by looking at their antennae and urosome). I also had to learn to tell different species of copepods apart...so sometimes I have to pick out Calanus glacialis and sometimes I have to pick out psuedocalanus. I had to learn how to take pictures of them and how to preserve them for later testing in the lab.________________________________
