why have you not seen the sun for ten days?

We are in the Arctic Circle and by definition the Arctic Circle is the region of Earth that during the winter, the sun does not rise above the horizon due to the tilt of the earth. When the sun does rise, it is very low on the horizon and it seems like we are having a sunset for 4 hours or so! ________________________________
