This Live from IPY! event was held with Missy Holzer, REU Students, and researchers Mike Retelle and Al Werner from Svalbard, Norway. Missy and the team discussed the glacier-river-lake system in Svalbard and life in the field.

This Live from IPY was conducted with PolarTREC teacher Frank Kelley and a team of researchers working on the Nuvuk Archaeology Project outside Barrow, Alaska. The event was held on August 5, 2008 and had approximately 100 participants.

Live from IPY event with PolarTREC teacher Cathy Campbell and researchers, Donie Bret-Harte, Laura Gough, and John Moore. The group called in from Toolik Field Station, Alaska to talk about the different research projects they are all involved in conducting about tundra ecology at the field station.

Archive of Live from IPY! event held 10 July 2008 with Elizabeth Eubanks and the Arctic Tundra Dynamics '08 team of Paulo Olivas and Jose Luciani. Other special guests discussed additional tundra and snowy owl research currently taking place in Barrow.

Live from IPY! event with Craig Beals and 10 atmospheric researchers working at Summit, Greenland.

The Live from IPY event was held on May 5, 2008 with Katie Pena and the research team on the Nathanial B. Palmer Icebreaker in the Drake Passage between Chile and Antarctica. About 160 students and adults participated from about 8 different groups.
