Hello Mr.Wood, how hard is it for the animals to find food in the tundra? Have a wonderful time in Alaska. Jessica Mrs. Dennis class Courreges

Great question! It is very hard for some of the animals during the winter months. Most of the birds have migrated away for the season, but the hares and the caribou ant others have to tough it out here. They find food where ever they can. Some will dig down in the snow to find plants to eat. Of course, other animals hibernate and sleep through the winter. Thanks! Keep up the good work!
