Carbon Balance in Warming and Drying Tundra 2013

Mr. Lane- Our botany class was wondering how the carbon emissions are relating to the emissions from last year. Also we wanted to let you know that Mr. Duling is a pretty cool dude and he actually knows how to teach(:

Hi Guys, Thanks for the question. Sorry it took me so long to answer it. I needed to consult Elizabeth regarding CO2 emissions comparison from last year. She hasn't really analyzed the data yet but she says, "it is different". She said she would change her data spreadsheet around in the next couple of days so she could have a good comparison.

Okay, so...Elizabeth looked at the data this morning quickly and found the Carbon emissions actually are less this year overall from the Snow Pits than last year. Which were less than the previous year...Hmmmmm.
