Dear Mr. Dubay,

My name is Katie, and I attend Twin Falls High School in Twin Falls, Idaho. I have been following your expedition with extreme interest, and I want to know who, besides yourself and Dr. Hansen, is on this research team, and how they came to be on it. It seems to be an amazing opportunity and experience, and I want to know how one is able to be a part of it. I also want to know if the speed at which you are completing the servicing to the seismic stations will cause your expedition to end early. Please reply at your convenience, and thank you so much for your contributions to science and our future!

Best regards, Katie

Brian DuBay

Thanks for the question! The other team members are Jordan Graw, a PHd student from the University of Alabama where Dr. Hansen teaches. Lindsey Kenyon which is one of Dr. Hansen's masters student. The engineer of the group works for IRIS PASSCAL, which is the company that supplies all the tech support for all seismic projects in Antarctica. We now have only one site left to service but with this weather we might not get to it for days or weeks. If we finish early they will try to send us home early but again depends on weather.
