Tiphii wants to know how big your room is and if you have to share it. Is your bedking size? What animals have you seen so far? KeliHave you had to use the survival blanket yet? JaylenWhat kind of food do they serve on the Healy?

My room is about 15 feet by 15 feet and yes I have to share with a very nicescientist. It's about the same size as a dorm room in college.
 
My bed is a skinny twin, but that's OK because I am so tired when I get to
bed I just get on the bed and don't move all night.
 
I have seen spotted seals, a minke whale, humpback whales, gulls and
spectacled eiders. Other people have seen walrus, polar bear, other birds,
and bearded seals. we will see many more when we get out of the ice.
 
I have not used any survival blanket yet. My bed is nice and warm without
it.
 
The food is yummy. I had Jamaican Curry Soup for lunch, and eat yogurt and
fresh fruit for breakfast. They always have a salad bar too. Last night they
had a baked potato bar where you could put anything you wanted to on your
potato. There are huge 5 gallon containers of ice cream and carrot cake
too. Delicious!
