Journal Entry
After a lot of nervous worrying about how we were going to get home in the midst of a global pandemic, my trip from Punta Arenas, Chile back to the northeastern US was surprisingly easy. Airports and flights were nearly empty and the tireless hard work of people at the ASC to plan our travel in extraordinary circumstances really showed. It is going to take a lot of adjusting, both to the fact that I get to walk around on solid land again, and to the fact that so much of what was familiar to me before I left has changed. I hope that everyone out there is safe and well. I'm glad I was able to share this experience with you.
